Pilates for Pre and Post Natal Women is about maintaining fitness and wellbeing during one of the most precious and important times in a Woman’s life.
These classes are designed to help improve posture during pregnancy, improve circulation, reduce stress, develop appropriate core strength and muscle tone and help prepare the body for labour.
After labour, this class is similar to Pre natal as the exercises generally helps release stress, assists with the losing of any unnecessary weight gained during pregnancy as the body begins to lay day deeper layers of muscle, therefore burning more calories and helping to bring the body back to its pre pregnancy shape. The exercises are also important for improving posture and toning the major muscle groups.
